Welcome to
Hope for the Hard Places
Hope 40:31 is a Christ-centered nonprofit created to bring practical help, compassionate support, and the hope of Jesus into the hard and messy places of life.
We believe no one should have to walk through mental health struggles, parenting challenges, grief, illness, financial hardship, or overwhelming seasons alone. Our mission is to meet people where they are—with compassion, resources, community, and tangible support—while reminding them that even in the hardest moments, hope is still here.
At Hope 40:31, we work to:
-
Equip churches to become more mental health-friendly, creating communities where people can speak honestly about their struggles and receive both spiritual support and compassionate understanding.
-
Support individuals and families facing mental health challenges by connecting them with trusted resources and helping provide financial assistance for therapy and care when possible.
-
Encourage and equip parents and caregivers who are navigating mental health struggles, difficult seasons, and the everyday challenges of loving someone who is hurting.
-
Provide practical resources for those experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional pain, family struggles, and other hard places in life.
-
Come alongside people in crisis or difficult seasons through fundraisers, community support, and acts of generosity that help meet real needs.
-
Invest in people who feel called to serve by providing scholarships and financial support for mission trips and opportunities to share the love of Jesus with others.
Our Heart
We are not here to pretend life is easy or faith makes every struggle disappear. We believe Jesus meets us in the messy, the painful, the uncertain, and the unfinished.
Hope 40:31 exists to help people feel seen, supported, and reminded that they do not have to carry the hard things alone.
Inspired by Isaiah 40:31:
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”
Hope for the weary. Help for the hurting. Community for the hard places. Jesus in the middle of it all.

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who hope in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint".
